About The Position
Pilsen Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Employment Specialist to provide high-quality case management services to individuals. The Employment Specialist ensures intake and assessment of participants, directs job seeking and retention skills; develops placement plans, makes partnerships and contacts in the community to help participants achieve and maintain employment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Driver License required
- Experience in similar role preferred
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Conducts intakes and assessment
- Develop placement plans to help achieve and maintain employment
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Provide educational, and advocacy services
- Coordinate resources with internal and external providers
- Adhere to ethical and confidentiality standards
