Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Regular use of desktop/laptop computer, basic operating systems, and specialized software systems.
  • Basic experience with alphanumeric data entry, PowerPoint, Excel, and word processing
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for filling positions by posting open positions, coordinating external advertising, soliciting applicants through other approved sources, and attending job fairs.
  • Administers all open positions by preparing and distributing all posting materials for the Great Southern website, ensuring timely notice of all newly developed openings, monitors and tracks applicants within the guidelines of the Affirmative Action Program, monitors all internal transfer requests, and monitors and encourages employee referrals.
  • Responsible for prescreening applications to determine if the candidate is qualified for this position in which they have applied. Works with all managers and department heads, evaluating their position needs, seeking qualified candidates, scheduling interviews, and making job offers.
  • Assists with the new hire process including preparation and follow-up of all applicable paperwork, administering drug screening, scheduling start dates, and inputting data in the HRIS database.
  • Provides customer service by assisting current employees, prospective employees, and former employees with information regarding, payroll, benefits, and company policies and procedures, providing following up as needed.
  • Assists with maintenance of all personnel records in accordance with current policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Welcome applicants, answering telephones, filing, recording keeping, and other support functions.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance, punctuality and personal appearance. Reads, writes, and communicates in a clear and efficient manner via various types of correspondence, such as, in person, phone, email, letters, etc. Adheres to all company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable banking rules, regulations, and laws (including BSA/AML).
  • Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.
