This role is responsible for driving measurable outcomes, including department growth, service utilization, staff performance, and overall program quality. We’re seeking a results-driven and people focused Employment Services Operations Manager to lead, grow, and strengthen our Employment Services (ES) Department. In this role, you’ll combine leadership, strategy, and compassion to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve meaningful employment and greater independence. What You’ll Do As the Employment Services Operations Manager, you will: Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Employment Services Department Drive department growth through program development, outreach, and client engagement Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight Build systems and processes that support staff success and service excellence Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor a high-performing ES team Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including documentation and reporting Oversee client intake, assessments, and service planning Foster strong relationships with clients, staff, families, and community partners Review incident reports and lead investigations when needed Collaborate with executive leadership (CEO/CFO) on department performance and strategy Support a positive, inclusive, and engaged team culture Manage staff performance, scheduling, and disciplinary processes in partnership with HR What Success Looks Like A thriving Employment Services Department that continues to grow Increased client participation, independence, and community involvement Strong staff engagement, development, and retention Efficient systems that support high-quality, compliant services What You Bring 2+ years of management experience (coordination experience preferred) Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) or in a related field Strong leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect across diverse populations Knowledge of (or ability to learn) Individual Support Plans, Behavior Support Plans, and medical protocols Familiarity with community resources and service coordination Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to lead in a high-accountability environment with evolving priorities and operational demands Requirements Must be 18 years or older Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) Why Join Us?
