1 Responsible for fulfillment of mission and philosophy by demonstrating leadership abilities, promoting a positive culture, and participating in activities including, but not limited to, strategic planning and implementation. 2 Oversees all functions of Employment Services Department including management of activities related to Supported Employment, and customer contracts related to cleaning, maintenance jobs, lawn mowing, and others as appropriate. 3 Effectively and positively communicates and cooperates with stakeholders including, but not limited to, Individuals, leadership team, staff, customers, and OCBDD. 4 Develops and implements new procedures; and follows established procedures for the department and RVI. 5 Responsible for compliance of relevant OAC & ORC rules. 6 Responsible for financial performance of department, meeting or exceeding budget. 7 Pursues opportunities to generate new business and grow the department. 8 Provides quotes and positively promotes services to potential customers to secure new contracts. 9 Supervises the set-up of contract work and facilitates any necessary time studies. 10 Conducts and/or ensures necessary and/or required staff training on, but not limited to, plans and activities related to serving Individuals and business contracts. 11 Supervises assigned staff and provides back up coverage as needed. Assistance is available from the Human Resources Director and issuing discipline as necessary. 12 Oversees and maintains exceptional customer service by planning and organizing all contracted services work efficiently and effectively, meeting quality control standards, and by providing adequate inventory control. 13 Establishes and effectively manages staffing schedules to meet customers' needs and to best utilize staff and Individuals 14 Orders necessary materials and supplies as needed. 15 Works with staff in identifying, analyzing, establishing or adjusting work methods/procedures to improve training and to meet schedules and quality standards. 16 Visits customer sites to promote excellent customer service and visibility to current and potential customers 17 Oversees and ensures accuracy in completion of electronic and hard copy documentation including service provided data, employee timekeeping, and customer billing 18 Maintains necessary and appropriate records. 19 Attends necessary and appropriate meetings, conferences, and approved training opportunities 20 Communicates and cooperates with other members of the Leadership Team. 21 Understands and adheres to all policies and procedures 22 Promotes an atmosphere of professionalism at all times for self and staff, insuring a positive image for the Employment Services Department both internally and externally. 23 Upholds RVI's commitment to positive culture. 24 Performs other tasks as deemed necessary by Operations Director.
