About The Position

This position will manage and monitor operations and progress toward goals and outcomes of the Employment Services Department, specifically as regards small group and one-to-one employment services. This includes the development and efficient staffing and operational management of small group employment and one-to-one individual sites, tracking service satisfaction and consistent communication with OGC employment partners. Promotes the benefits of workplace diversity and community inclusion for people with disabilities and ensures commitments to the people we support, and our partner community employers are fulfilled by promoting excellence in program services and person-centered practices. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinators know all aspects of Employment Services, performing all duties as needed to ensure excellent operation, compliance, maintenance, safety, and person-centered practice for the benefit of the people they support. This includes, but is not limited to: Model and promote an Employment First philosophy consistent with person-centered principles and practices of the organization. Build positive, productive relationships with employment services recipients and staff Assure Employment Team members are motivated and accountable to provide excellent, prompt service to people supported and OGC’s employment partners. Adherence to all regulations and policies of all regulatory bodies. Be the administrative oversight of department documentation including time sheets, billing calendars, task analyses, staffing plans, job placement reports, vehicle inspection reports, unannounced supervisory visits at Small Group work sites, HR reporting. Monitor and ensure adherence to the departmental budget. Monitor daily notes for quality, ensuring that all activities and data on the individuals’ actions and outcomes are accurately noted. Assure all staff are trained according to program and OGC requirements. Attend all assigned trainings, staff meetings, and committee meetings as necessary. Perform additional assigned duties as needed to achieve program success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in supporting people with IDD and competent, efficient computer skills are required.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience is required.
  • Must have or complete TRN training and complete the ACRE Pro Work Works within one year of hire date, and other state-mandated training requirements.
  • Health must allow for efficient accomplishment of assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • Physical examination, TB skin test and drug screen is required.
  • Maintain Valid driver’s license (with F-Endorsement if from Tennessee) and current auto insurance
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Must be able and willing to meet the demands of a flexible schedule including off-hour and weekend work, when needed.
  • Must have a reliable personal vehicle that has the ability to transport up to four individuals, including the driver.
