Job Summary The Employee Retirement Fund Compliance Officer oversees the development and implementation of policies and procedures; establishes and continuously improves practices for an effective compliance program. Job Description Overview Under administrative direction of the Executive or Deputy Executive Director, the ERF Compliance Officer is responsible for the overall compliance management of the benefits, communications, finance, investments, learning & development and/or technology administration of the Employee Retirement Fund. Oversees the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and practices for an effective compliance program in the Employee Retirement Fund (ERF). Reviews and evaluates compliance issues relating to the operation of ERF for its civilian employees, including financial reporting on a timely basis, maintaining custodial relationships, cash management, budget preparation, coordination of annual audit, and overall interface between the ERF and the City of Dallas regarding all financial transactions.
