About The Position

Regal Boats is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our team as an Employee Relations Specialist. The Employee Relations Specialist will work alongside the TMS Manager to provide HR-related support to manufacturing team members, including pay and benefits, conflict resolution, enforcing and improving company policies and practices, and assisting with performance evaluations and with disciplinary action counseling. This position will also consist of HR Operations such as, workforce planning, data analysis, and benefits administration.

Requirements

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines as it relates to event planning and execution.
  • Strong empathy and interpersonal skills
  • Highly familiar with HR-related functions such as data analysis, benefits administration, and performance evaluations.
  • AA or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • Proficient in Google and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • At least one year of human resources experience.
  • Conversational English.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or related fields.
  • Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
  • Manufacturing or marine industry experience.
  • SHRM-CP is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs, including but not limited to: compensation, benefits, and leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, and training and development.
  • Arranges meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and company managers when necessary.
  • Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
  • Regularly visits the manufacturing buildings to ensure team members and their leaders are supported and assisted with TMS-related functions.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
