Responsible for the overall cleanliness and look of the Recreation Center. The Details:Position Type: Part-Time, Year-RoundPay: $15.55 per hourSchedule: Up to 20 hours per week, schedule may vary. Housing: This position is not eligible for company housing. Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Knowledge and experience with Word and email programs.
Willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to acquire CPR/First Aid certification within 6 months of hire.
Knowledge and use of fitness equipment.
Must possess or be able to acquire an Arizona driver's license and comply with the Xanterra South Rim Company Vehicle Policy.
Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card within first 2 weeks in the position.

Responsibilities

Operate Front Desk and POS register according to Recreation Center procedures and policy.
Assist with events and activities lead by Event Coordinators.
Responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness of the Recreation Center by performing custodial duties including, but not limited to lifting, sweeping, disposing of waste, and vacuuming.
Assist with programming events and activities directed by Event Coordinators.
Open and close the Recreation Center as scheduled according to procedure.
Always presents a professional appearance and attitude and maintains a high standard of customer service.
Maintain inventory and record use of equipment and supplies.
Assume trip leader responsibilities in the absence of an Attendant, facilitating trips within Northern Arizona.
Assist in enforcing Recreation Center policies to the patrons.
Adhere to all safety and risk management policies, including wearing required personal protective equipment while performing tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
