About The Position

This role leads the organization-wide infection prevention and employee health programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The RN conducts regular rounding, surveillance, data analysis, and reporting to identify risks, investigate infections, and drive corrective actions across hospital, clinic, and care center settings. Collaboration is central, working closely with leadership, frontline staff, Human Resources, providers, and external agencies to support safe practices, education, and timely reporting. The position also oversees employee health, wellness initiatives, and the full workers’ compensation process, balancing clinical judgment with administrative precision and confidentiality. Work is structured yet dynamic, requiring strong prioritization, clear communication, and confident decision-making in complex or high-stakes situations.

Requirements

  • Associate of Science in Nursing
  • Five (5) years of clinical nursing experience
  • One (1) year of experience in infection prevention and control and/or employee/occupational health nursing
  • Current Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred; required within three (3) years of hire
  • Regulatory and compliance expertise

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
