Perform varied clerical duties in support of general and special office activities to relieve supervisor of clerical and routine responsibilities and to maintain an efficient and effective operation. The Employee Health Clerk assists in the coordination of Flu Vaccines, PPD, and Fit Testing while maintaining tracking system. Helps in the timely processing of Workers’ Compensation claims. Evaluates accident reports to determine accuracy and completeness and to ensure adequate investigation. Documents accurately and helps to maintain required confidential employee and administrative records. Must be able to operate computer to enter and retrieve data.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED Equivalent Required
  • Previous hospital experience with filling, organization of files, or coping records preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
