In short, for our Employee Engagement intern we are seeking a high-energy, organized, and execution-focused intern to support our Events & Recognition team over the summer. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys bringing ideas to life, and is excited about creating meaningful employee experiences through events, anniversary programming, and rewards & recognition initiatives. In long, our Employee Engagement, is responsible for: Employee event planning, execution, and onsite support Source vendors and supplies, track budgets, and contribute new ideas. Work cross-functionally to manage timelines, tasks, and deliverables, ensuring projects stay on track from start to finish. Collaborate with Communications to align and deliver impactful messaging.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to talk and write with confidence, charisma and competence for a wide variety of audiences including management.
  • A mind for the details.
  • Operate autonomously.
  • You are currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s with a graduation date of 12/2026 – 5/2027
  • Marketing, Human Resources, Tourism Management, Event Management preferred
  • Our internship program will be 11 weeks starting May 18, 2026 to July 31, 2026
  • Internships will be based out of our Home Office in Tempe, AZ
  • You can expect a regular on-site schedule Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

Nice To Haves

  • Prior event planning experience
  • Proficiency in Excel for tracking, organizing, and reporting
  • Experience using Wrike or other project management tools
  • Open to undergraduate or master’s students
