About The Position

We are currently seeking an Employee Development and Culture Specialist who will be responsible for professional-level HR duties, such as, but not limited to: identifying training/development needs; developing, coordinating, and conducting training/development; and assisting with employee-related activities. Also responsible for continual improvement in retention, maintaining our company culture, and sustaining employee engagement. Employee development duties include: collaborative support through the integration and deployment of core training, organizational development and succession planning activities.

Requirements

  • Combination of training, education, and work experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Two (2) year of experience with facilitating employee engagement activities and development/implementation/presentation of employee programs.
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including: Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Able to create and design effective deliverables through these programs.
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of data management via Microsoft Excel tools such as pivot tables, conditional formatting, formulas, and VLOOKUP
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication in both English and Spanish.
  • Proven record of highest standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Strong organization and time management/project management skills necessary to prioritize and manage multiple, complex projects, potentially with conflicting priorities; ability to react quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to communicate positively and professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to effectively understand and clearly present information and respond to questions, as well as knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Ability to understand basic descriptive statistics and common HR Metrics

  • Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and provide strategic direction for employee development and retention opportunities.
  • Establish and carry out employee training and development programs.
  • Coordinate and Conduct training and development programs in English and Spanish utilizing PowerPoint and other media.
  • Administer and manage in-house training program and evolve it to keep with current business needs.
  • Evaluate, measure and report results of employee training and development programs on an ongoing basis
  • Provide ongoing support and mentoring for both new and existing employees.
  • Champion and promote company culture and employee recognition program.
  • Improve and maintain onboarding process for new hires.
  • Implement various employee engagement activities for both new and current employees.
  • Work alongside HR Analyst to develop, maintain, and update key Human Resource metrics regarding Employee Development.
  • Exercise appropriate judgement in establishing priorities and resolving routine matters, considering the relative cost and benefits of potential actions.

  • May be responsible for other general HR duties
