About The Position

R&R Insurance is growing, and our Employee Benefits team is looking for an Employee Benefits Analyst who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and helping clients understand the financial side of their benefit plans. In this role, you’ll partner closely with our consultants and service teams to analyze claims data, prepare benchmarking and financial reports, and support client presentations. Your work will help clients better understand their benefit programs and make informed decisions about their plans. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills who wants to build a long-term career in the employee benefits consulting space.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or another analytical field
  • 2–4 years of office, analytical, or insurance-related experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with tools such as Microsoft Office, Applied Benefits Designer, Claros Analytics, or BenefitPoint preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional email and phone etiquette
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify problems and recommend solutions
  • Life & Health Insurance License required (or must obtain within 90 days of hire)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the insurance or employee benefits industry is a plus
  • Experience with tools such as Microsoft Office, Applied Benefits Designer, Claros Analytics, or BenefitPoint preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly benefits claims reports for fully insured and self-funded clients
  • Develop benchmarking analyses and reports for clients and prospective clients
  • Assist in preparing the financial components of client presentations
  • Provide data for premium and contribution calculations for self-funded plans
  • Research and analyze benefits data to support client strategy discussions
  • Stay current on industry trends, underwriting practices, and market changes
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with consultants, carriers, and clients
  • Support the Employee Benefits team with data analysis and reporting needs
