Requirements

  • Minimum of 2.5 years of experience managing a book of business independently
  • Strong understanding of various funding models; specific account-based experience is not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with local clients

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage a book of business, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored employee benefits solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to quote new and renewal business
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to provide expert guidance to clients
  • Participate in client meetings, both virtually and in-person, to present solutions and address inquiries
  • Contribute to the growth of the organization by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling
