About The Position

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a team. This role is integral to supporting the key accounts and serving as the primary point of contact for clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate with a sense of urgency in a client-facing environment. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a balance between in-office and remote work.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience as an Employee Benefits Account Manager
Proficiency in software systems such as Zywave or Broker Builder
Strong knowledge of the local market and carrier experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, results-focused environment

Nice To Haves

Experience working with public sector clients, specifically school districts, is a plus

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic accounts
Collaborate with Senior Account Executives to support key accounts
Manage a book of business with approximately 350 clients
Assist with open enrollment processes and meeting preparation
Work closely with Account Coordinators or Specialists to handle backend tasks such as RFPs and RFQs
Provide exceptional client service and maintain strong client relationships
Operate with a sense of urgency and professionalism in all client interactions
