About The Position

Alera Group is looking for a Employee Benefits Account Manager. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you! Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in customer service, proposal development or account management in an employee benefit setting. Experience working with employers a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and client management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Internediate level expertise in Microsoft Office tools and the ability to analyze benefit plan financial and operational impacts
  • Current CA Life and Health Insurance license, or ability to obtain immediately.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with agency management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the Request for Proposal (RFP) process on behalf of clients
  • Review client needs, recommend suitable approaches, and assist in implementing benefit program strategies
  • Develop client communications, including proposals, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Conduct open enrollment and client meetings virtually or in person
  • Model employee benefits contributions to meet employer objectives
