About The Position

The Emerging Talent Program is designed to develop the next generation of leaders in professional sports. Our mission is to attract top, early-career talent and provide meaningful, hands-on experience within the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization. Participants do more than observe; they contribute. Interns gain real-world experience, insider access, and a comprehensive understanding of how a professional football organization operates. The program is intentionally structured to help participants build upon their academic foundation while defining clear, career-focused goals. Each intern is placed within a specific department while also being encouraged to explore the broader business of football through networking opportunities, a Capstone Project, and our Internship Learning Series. Throughout the program, interns collaborate with team executives and build professional relationships that extend well beyond their internship experience. This is a paid, hourly internship running from July 13, 2026, through June 25, 2027. The Events & Entertainment Department is seeking two motivated individuals with a passion for live events and game day experiences to participate in the Emerging Talent Program. This hands-on opportunity provides real-world training in a fast-paced, live environment. The Emerging Talent – Events role is designed for an individual eager to gain broad exposure to the planning and delivery of live events within a dynamic sports and entertainment organization. This position offers a front-row seat to the creative, strategic, and operational processes that bring events from initial idea to live execution. The Events Emerging Talent will be immersed in a collaborative environment, learning how cross-functional teams work together to deliver memorable experiences for internal and external audiences. This role centers on supporting a wide variety of events, ranging from intimate meetings and member experiences to large-scale tentpole events and game days. The participant will develop an understanding of event logistics, production workflows, partner and stakeholder coordination, and brand alignment, while building practical skills through hands-on involvement. The Events Emerging Talent will work closely with department leadership and peers, including the Entertainment Emerging Talent, to support shared initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the Events & Entertainment Department. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and excited to learn how complex events are executed in a fast-paced, live environment while gaining real-world experience across multiple event types. The Emerging Talent – Entertainment role is tailored for an individual with a strong interest in live entertainment, performance production, and game day presentation. This position provides immersive exposure to the creative and operational elements that shape the in-venue experience for fans, participants, and partners. The Entertainment Emerging Talent will play a key role in supporting the rhythm, energy, and storytelling that define Training Camp, game days, and other marquee moments. Through close collaboration with the Events & Entertainment team, this role allows the participant to learn how entertainment elements are conceptualized, rehearsed, and integrated into large-scale live productions. The Entertainment Emerging Talent will gain insight into working with performers, talent groups, and special guests, while understanding how entertainment aligns with brand standards, audience engagement goals, and overall event flow. This role also includes cross-training alongside the Events Emerging Talent, offering a holistic view of how entertainment and event operations intersect.
