Our privately owned, small animal emergency hospital is seeking a motivated and experienced Veterinary Technician or Assistant to step into a key leadership role as our Emergency Veterinary Staff Supervisor. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine
- Strong technical skills and confidence in emergency/triage situations
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- A passion for training, mentoring, and developing others
- High attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Supervisory experience preferred—but we’re willing to develop the right candidate with leadership potential
Nice To Haves
- Experience with EzyVet and/or Vet Radar is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of veterinary assistants and technicians
- Oversee training and ongoing skill development of technical staff
- Serve as a subject-matter expert in triage, patient flow, and emergency care
- Help optimize workflow and support efficient diagnostics and treatment
- Collaborate with leadership to improve procedures and protocols
- Assist with scheduling, interviews, and hiring of new team members
- Promote a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture
