About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Conshohocken, PA is proud to offer our Emergency Veterinarian Mentorship Training Program, EmERge. Our EmERge program helps you obtain the skills and the confidence that you need to be a successful Emergency Veterinarian at one of our state-of-the-art hospitals. The program is offered beginning in January and in June annually. What you Need to be considered for BluePearl’s EmERge program: You must be a graduate of an AVMA accredited veterinary school. You must have passed (or pending) the NAVLE. You must have (or be eligible for) a license to practice in the state of interest. Why you should join EmERge: You will receive one to one peer guided mentorship in emergency medicine designed to prepare you to become a highly trained and confident emergency clinician. The program provides valuable experience by combining case-based lectures, interactive seminars, hands-on practice labs, and mentoring. Joining BluePearl's EmERge program will provide you with the opportunity to learn from the highest skilled emergency clinicians in the industry, offering the highest quality of medicine for pets and the community. Not only will you receive valuable training from experienced veterinarians, but you will also be paid real world salary from the first day of your course. Program Structure: EmERge is a one-year training program, followed by a one-year post-EmERge commitment. The EmERge program is divided into 3 phases: Phase 1 (Weeks 1-14): 4 Weeks of Bootcamp: A combination of virtual (Weeks 1-2) and in-person (Weeks 3-4) training to build foundational emergency medicine skills. 2 Weeks of Specialty Rotations: Gain exposure to various specialties to enhance your understanding and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. 8 Weeks of ER Shifts: Apply your training in a real-world setting under the mentorship of experienced emergency clinicians. Phase 2 (Weeks 15-32): Increased Responsibility: Transition to managing more complex cases with greater independence while still receiving guidance from mentors. ER Shift Focus: Work full shifts in the ER, continuing to develop critical thinking and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment. Ongoing Mentorship: Regular check-ins with mentors to review cases, address challenges, and refine clinical skills. Exposure to Diverse Cases: Handle a variety of emergency cases to broaden expertise and build confidence in emergency medicine. Ongoing Didactics: Participate in a weekly webinar series designed to enhance your learning and keep you updated on the latest practices in emergency veterinary medicine. Phase 3 (Weeks 33-52): Independent Case Management: Take on full responsibility for managing emergency cases, showcasing confidence and competence in clinical decision-making. Continued Collaboration: Work alongside the hospital team to provide exceptional patient care while honing leadership and communication skills. Advanced Skill Application: Apply advanced diagnostic and procedural skills gained throughout the program to handle high-acuity cases. Mentor Support: Maintain access to mentor guidance as needed, ensuring continued growth and support. Ongoing Didactics: Participate in a weekly webinar series designed to enhance your learning and keep you updated on the latest practices in emergency veterinary medicine. BluePearl is proud to offer real-world salary for EmERge: Phase one salary (Weeks 1-14): $120,000 Phase two salary (Weeks 15-32): $120,000 Phase three salary (Weeks 33-52) full-time ER Clinician market rate salary plus quarterly production bonus

Requirements
