As an ECC associate, you'll collaborate with a diverse and talented team of skilled veterinary clinicians, specialists, and nurses. As an emergency associate, you'll play a crucial role in our team, providing valuable support for our staff, interns, and residents and contributing to the advancement of veterinary medicine through education.

Requirements

  • DVM, VMD, or equivalent and able to obtain licensure in the state of MA.
  • Internship or experience in an emergency setting is required.
  • Effectively collaborate with diverse teams of colleagues in all capacities throughout the organization.
  • Capable of working in high-stress situations while maintaining composure but should not be afraid of having fun, too.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, high motivation, and a proven passion for continuous education
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently triage, stabilize, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Ensure proactive client communication and exceptional medical treatment.
  • Cultivate a consistently positive work environment
  • Engage in proactive collaboration with team members to optimize patient care and promote teamwork.
  • Provide comprehensive education to clients on various injuries, illnesses, and treatment protocols.
  • Proactively cultivate and strengthen client, patient, and referring veterinarian relationships.
