Students and new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated mentorship Why join the team 24/7 emergency/specialty/general practice hospital 6-month mentorship available for new graduate doctors Staff of over 19 veterinarians with specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Emergency & Critical Care, Radiology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, and Anesthesia 27,000 square foot building, currently building a 16,000 square foot addition Strong emergency/critical care service, a thriving internship program, an experienced management team, AAHA-accredited 1.5T MRI, 3 ultrasound units, 16 slice CT, fluoroscopy, 2 x-ray machines, various scopes, HBOT, Laser, Halcyon LinAc, One hour away from Chicago, home to the oldest continuous Farmers Market, shopping, outdoor music at RiverEdge Park, 325-acre Phillips Park, 18-hole golf course, aquatic center, skate park, lakeside walking path, and restored Sunken Gardens Access to a network of specialists within VCA Schedule Full or part-time availability Overnight or swing shift 12 Shifts per month- 6 PM to 6 AM Who we look for Dedicated experts who want to provide world-class medicine Collaborators who enjoy teaching others and working as a team Curious lifelong learners who want to grow and thrive for a dynamic and fulfilling career Empathetic partners who develop strong client and Associate relationships built on trust Learn more about the hospital here! Total Rewards As a VCA Associate, eligible full-time employees will be rewarded with a comprehensive package, including: Compensation The annualized base for this position ranges from $80k to $500,000 and is negotiable based on experience and credentials. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
Requirements
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
- Licensure in good standing to practice in (state), or the ability to obtain
- A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
