About The Position
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – 13 Week Contract We are seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for 13-week contract assignments in a fast-paced hospital emergency department. This role is ideal for ER nurses with strong clinical judgment who thrive in high-acuity, high-volume environments .
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
- Ability to function effectively in high-acuity and emergency situations
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- BLS (AHA required)
- ACLS required
Nice To Haves
- CEN preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with acute illness, trauma, and medical emergencies
- Perform rapid triage, assessment, and prioritization of patient needs
- Initiate emergency interventions and administer medications per protocol
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Assist physicians during emergency procedures and resuscitation efforts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary emergency department teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with safety and quality standards
