Employment Details: Employment Type: Full-Time Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire Department: Emergency Services Shift: Days or Nights Schedule: Rotating Weekends Position Summary: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered emergency care to patients ranging from minor injuries to critically ill conditions. This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced emergency department environment while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted Registered Nurse license for the position you are applying for
• Minimum of one year of recent acute care Emergency Room RN experience required
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required
• Florida RN license or valid multistate compact license required
• Basic Life Support BLS required prior to start
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS required within 90 days of employment start date
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS required within 90 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 90 days of employment start date
• Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages.
• Identify expected outcomes for individualized patient care plans.
• Develop and implement treatment strategies and alternatives.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously while prioritizing patient needs.
• Provide follow-up care instructions and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and hospital departments.
• Maintain a patient-focused and safety-driven approach at all times.
