About The Position

RestorePro is seeking Emergency Response Coordinator to join our Greensboro, NC team. The E.R.C. is first on the scene when there is a fire or flooding. This role is responsible for contacting the property owner or individual who is authorized to hire the company to clean and repair the damage caused by various emergencies including fire, flood, and natural disasters. To excel in this role, you must be able to empathetically walk the prospect through the process, so they will see you as a partner they can count on. Once the emergency crews leave the scene, our work begins! We specialize in restoring residential and commercial properties after emergency situations caused by water damage, flood damage, mold damage, fire/smoke damage, and biohazard/trauma events. Requirements

  • Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Demonstrate the ability to write routine reports, correspondence.
  • The ability to speak professionally with customers and/or employees of the organization.
  • Possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Have knowledge of database, Internet, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
  • Must have business to business sales experience.
  • Valid Driving License and pass a MVR check
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen
  • The employee is regularly required to visit project sites that have incurred catastrophic events from fire, water, and storm damage and could require accessing roofs, in which case they will need to be able to carry up to a 40’ ladder from their truck and set it up at the roofline of the associated property.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to dispatched emergency calls, 24/7 on-call – including working the night shift and weekends.
  • Responsible for new emergency service jobs/assignments, interfaces with clients, insurance adjusters, and property managers.
  • Obtains details of new losses & explaining the emergency service process to owners along with updating the insurance company.
  • Mitigates damage at a loss location due to events from fire, water, and storm damage.
  • Collects signed authorization forms from property owners and Insurance Adjuster contact information
  • Coordinates specialized trade services if/when necessary, collects subsequent sub invoices needed to create & complete invoices.
  • Upload job photographs.
  • Assist the Water Mitigation Department with property location oversight, including but not limited to:
  • Coordinating subcontractors and field personnel
  • Assist with stage and set up of drying equipment
  • Assist with take-down and decontamination of drying equipment.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
