About The Position
The Fraser Canyon Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking to recruit a full time and/or part-time CCFP (+/- EM Trained) physician. A unique rural opportunity for you just a short two-hour drive east of Vancouver’s city centre. Fraser Canyon Hospital (FCH) is a 16-bed community hospital and provides services including 24/7 emergency care stabilization and triage and hospice beds and services. Emergency care stabilization and triage 24/7 is a critical need for Fraser Canyon Hospital due to its geographic isolation and the number of travellers using the major highways that converge in the area.
Requirements
- FRCPC (Emergency Medicine), CCFP-EM, or ABEM certification.
- Eligible for Provisional Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
- CPSBC USA-certified class of registration is acceptable.
