About The Position

The Program & Events Manager leads the design, coordination, and execution of educational conferences, online training programs, and virtual speaker series that advance the Department of Emergency Medicine’s mission to be a preeminent destination for education and leadership in the field. Manages a portfolio of high-impact learning experiences that showcase departmental expertise, engage faculty and external leaders, and elevate the department’s national reputation. Oversees all aspects of event strategy, logistics, and marketing, while collaborating closely with physician educators and faculty content experts to develop and deliver exceptional educational experiences. Supervises program support staff and fosters collaboration across academic, clinical, and administrative teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or University
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in program, event, or project management; preferably within an academic medical center, university, or continuing education environment
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience is required
Excellent organization and communication (oral and written) skills
High level of proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite and software used by the department

Master’s degree preferred
CMP preferred
