About The Position

The APP will have at least 5 plus years of experience with Emergency Medicine and the ability to work independently without a physician onsite. As a practicing provider with our group, you will enjoy a cohesive team atmosphere built on communication and cooperation.

Requirements

• Excellent clinical skills
• ATLS, ACLS, PALS & BLS required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective organizational/time management skills
• Current license to practice medicine in New York State

Responsibilities

• The Physician Assistant will be responsible for treating patients in the emergency department, discharges, and consults.
• The provider will assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
• Run codes, intubation, all procedures, lines, trauma and deliveries etc.
