Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician Status: Full-Time Pay Range: $20.00 per hour Benefits Eligibility: Full benefits begin within 30 days of hire Essential Duties and Responsibilities Obtain and document patient vital signs and medical histories Assist providers during examinations and procedures Accurately complete EMR documentation and charting Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies/equipment are stocked Communicate with patients regarding care plans and follow-up instructions Coordinate with pharmacies and outside facilities Support front and back office operations as needed Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance at all times Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent Strong computer and typing skills Effective verbal and written communication Ability to multitask in a clinical environment Reliable attendance and punctuality Preferred: Healthcare exposure or coursework (not required) Training & Supervision On-the-job training provided Mentorship from clinic manager Supports 2–3 providers per shift Work Environment & Schedule Outpatient clinical setting Full-time, Monday–Friday 8-hour shifts with variable start/end times (no nights or weekends) 7-4 or 8-5 Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Manual dexterity required for clinical tasks Equal Employment Opportunity Tampa Pain Relief is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
