About The Position

The Atlantic Mobile Health Department is proud to offer the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Trainee Program. This paid, 12-week, full-time program provides comprehensive classroom and field training to prepare candidates for EMT certification and immediate transition into full-time EMT roles within Atlantic Health System.

Responsibilities

Providing pre-hospital care to sick or injured patients.
Performing inter-facility medical transportation.
Assisting in emergency scenarios.
Respond to 911 calls and support local first aid squads.
Transport patients to and from hospitals and specialty centers.
Assist MICU and paramedic teams during high-acuity cases.
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and hospital staff.
Engage in community outreach and safety initiatives.
