About The Position

An Emergency Management (EM) Analyst supports all DAF Emergency Management, CBRN defense, and Emergency Management career field programs. In this specific role, the EM analyst will assist with the technical expertise, maintenance, and sustainment of Emergency Management career field equipment assets.

Requirements

  • 6 years or more CBRN defense, disaster preparedness, emergency management related field experience or 10 years or more field experience required.
  • Must have Secret Clearance
  • Intermediate Level Excel Skills (Data Entry, Formulas).
  • Acute attention to detail & strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work with constantly changing priorities.
  • A current passport is required or must be acquired within the first 90 days of starting the position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide reach back support for MAJCOM, AFIMSC detachments, and installations, offering technical guidance on Air Force Emergency Management career field and CBRN defense equipment.
  • Developing and validating asset management and legacy equipment sustainment.
  • Managing equipment technical order development and revision process.
  • Participating in the technical development of the tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Providing project management support to manage and track tasks identified.
  • Providing representation at and presentation development support related meetings and workshops.
  • Providing technical analysis of developed plans and publications to verify accuracy and consistency with referenced technical reports, joint service test data, and related documents.
  • Managing sustainment of fielded UTC and non-UTC equipment and supplies.
  • Prepare annual requirements, plans, and assist in managing execution of replenishment for Emergency Management UTCs.
  • Provide briefings and training for Emergency Management flight members on ARIS.
  • Assist in the development, coordination, and revision of Emergency Management Concept of Operations and Employment.
  • Additional duties and obligations outlined in the EM Support PWS, and assignments delegated by the DAWSON Contract Task Lead or DAWSON Supervisor.
