About The Position

The Role: Emergency Dispatcher – 2nd Shift Who You Are: You will handle inbound calls from our push button emergency phones, monitoring emergency phones in places such as in elevators, pool areas, and other areas, which are used in the event of an emergency. You do not need dispatcher experience to apply to this job, we provide extensive on the job training. Our primary client base includes commercial and multi-family real estate owners and property managers, and the most common areas we install our emergency phones are in elevators and at pool sides. Requirements

High school diploma or GED
1-year customer service, call center, or dispatcher experience
Availability to work weekends, holidays, and 2nd shift (3:45pm - 12:15am)
Extraordinary customer service skills that meet quality standards for services
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional active listening skills, giving full attention to what others are saying, asking questions as appropriate without interrupting
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Accurately type at least 35 wpm with an accuracy rate of 95% or better
High rate of accuracy and attention to detail
Dependable and organized
Positive, competitive, and a determined attitude

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
A sense of humor is a plus, we like to have fun!

Responsibilities

Respond to testing and emergency calls
Answer a high volume of inbound calls from customers and vendors
Address inquiries, provide accurate customer details, and document updates on emergency situations
Notify the customer call list of emergent and non-emergent situations
Dispatch the Elevator Company or the appropriate authorities when necessary
Manage multiple software programs for call handling and team communication
Communicate updates clearly and concisely
