About The Position

At NorthBay Health the Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) is responsible
and accountable for the delivery of patient care under the direction of the
Registered Nurse.  The ED Tech collects data and implements task specific
functions as directed by the Registered Nurse.  The ED Tech delivers care that
is specific to the special behaviors / needs of the patient and that is age
appropriate for the individual.  The ED Tech communicates pertinent patient
information and responses to interventions to the appropriate nurses and
documents in the medical record pertinent patient information and responses to
interventions.
