About The Position

Requirements

Education: Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred)
Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Certifications: BLS (within 30 days of hire) ACLS (within 30 days of hire) Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (within 6 months) PALS or ENPC (within 6 months) TNCC (within 1 year)

Responsibilities

Patient Assessment: Perform ongoing assessments of patient conditions, including pain evaluation, and reassess following interventions.
Care Delivery: Administer treatments, medications, and procedures as prescribed, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
Patient Experience: Respond promptly to patient needs while maintaining a high standard of compassionate care.
Education & Communication: Clearly educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
Preventive Care: Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
Collaboration: Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient outcomes.
