About The Position

The Emergency Department (ED) Patient Flow Coordinator position is responsible for the overall movement of patients through the ED in a safe and efficient manner. This position will coordinate all patient care activities and be a liaison with the ED medical staff to ensure that care can be delivered in an efficient and safe manner. The Patient Flow Coordinator appropriately delegates the workload and is a role model for teamwork, leadership and professionalism in the ED.

Requirements

• Graduate from a nursing program
• 1 year of Emergency Department experience, as a registered nurse (RN)
• Experience participating in and/or leading quality and process improvement projects
• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
• BCLS - Basic Life Support
• ACLS
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing
• CEN - Certified Emergency Room Nurse
