About The Position

Cascade Medical , located in beautiful downtown Leavenworth in the Cascade foothills of Central Washington, has openings for two full time Emergency Department Admitting Clerk/Front Desk Receptionists. Work Schedule: The anticipated schedule consists of seven (7) days on and seven (7) days off. The schedule will be Thursday- Tuesday from 7:30am-7pm every other week. In addition, every other Wednesday you will split the day (either 7am-1pm on weeks you are finishing your week or 1pm-7pm on weeks you are starting your work week). Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Prior customer experience and interacting with the public is required.
  • Must be able to accurately balance daily deposits - math aptitude required.
  • Must be able to organize, multi-task, and prioritize daily work tasks.
  • Must possess proficient computer skills.
  • Must possess interpersonal skills that align with CM's Shared Values.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous admitting/receptionist experience in a similar setting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Receptionist for our facility.
  • Answer and route calls for all hospital departments.
  • Register patients accurately.
  • Maintain all admitting information at 95% accuracy.
  • Perform data entry for patient account set up.
  • Process billing paperwork for outpatient departments, including the Emergency Department.
  • Process both incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Process daily deposits.
  • Receive payments and maintain cash drawer.
  • Process primary and secondary bills.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient and employee information to ensure patient and employee rights are protected in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
