Requirements

Three-plus years of professional experience in medical office administration

Responsibilities

To aid the lab with the disposition of frozen tissue.
To act as a liaison with patients.
Provide administrative support to the lab.
Verifies the accuracy and completion of disposition consents
Liaison between patients, lab management and clinical teams
Maintains communication with other departments within the organization as well as outside the practice
Coordinate transports
Helps establish and maintain documents
Helps to rectify problems with patient documents
Projects as assigned
Responding to patient inquiries about disposition and transport
Emailing/mailing documents
Receiving and organizing disposition consents
Filing and maintenance of lab documents/consents
Updating and assist in maintaining cryo inventory for billing
Assisting in physical discard or transport
Receiving shipping tanks; must be able to lift 20 pounds
Reports to the lab inventory manager.
