About The Position

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role is part of TeraWave, a satellite communications network designed to deliver symmetrical data speeds of up to 6 Tbps anywhere on Earth. This network will service tens of thousands of enterprise, data center, and government users who require reliable connectivity for critical operations. As a Embedded Systems Engineer at Blue Origin, you will be instrumental in bringing our next-generation phased array and software-defined radio systems to life. You will be a foundational member of our in-house RF communications team, responsible for the embedded software and firmware that controls and orchestrates our advanced beamforming ASICs and digital communication systems. In this role, you will bridge the gap between hardware and high-level control systems, developing the embedded software stack that enables our spacecraft communication systems to operate autonomously and efficiently in the harsh space environment. This is an opportunity to work on mission-critical embedded systems from concept through flight qualification.
