A challenging opportunity exists for a motivated individual to join the Adaptive Communications and Sensing (AC&S) Product Line within the Command, Control, Communications and Computers Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems (C4ISR) Business Area of BAE Systems Electronic Systems (ES) Sector as the AC&S Embedded Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) lead. The AC&S portfolio consists of programs located in Hudson, NH; Wayne, NJ; Ft. Wayne IN; and other locations. The Embedded FP&A lead provides leadership, guidance and insight to AC&S Program Finance teams in support of the full portfolio of programs. This highly visible position reports to the AC&S Finance Director and provides support and input to Product Line and Business Area Leadership regarding all financial matters related to the business. As Embedded FP&A, you will lead and support: Financial Salient reporting and forecasting QBR/IBP Development Assistance to programs with forecasts – Health checks, scenario comparisons, etc… Capital/NBF forecasts, tracking, and reporting Labor base assessments and reconciliations Cash meeting / forecasts Support to business development Hyperion / Smartview SME Business case/IEM SME LCM assistance Datapack reviews One-liner reviews Support strategic capture pursuits Who you are: You’re more interested in getting the job done right than who gets credit You love working with a team and receiving input from others You are able to concisely explain complex subjects in person, in online meetings and in email You constantly ask questions and love learning You’re always anticipating your customer’s needs and working to exceed their expectations You’re willing to put in the time and effort it takes to get the job done

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Excel, Oracle, Hyperion, ProPricer, and Cobra
  • Ability to challenge and improve current practices and standards
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships
  • Experience in program finance and/or other finance functional disciplines
