About The Position

We are seeking a results-driven Email Strategy Manager with at least 5 years of experience in email marketing, a high level of proficiency in HubSpot, and exceptional copywriting skills. This role requires a deep understanding of the full customer lifecycle and where nurturing plays a critical role, with a focus on delivering value across every touchpoint while avoiding spammy experiences for any contact in our database. The ideal candidate will design and execute campaigns aligned to business objectives and audience needs, leverage automation, and partner cross-functionality to ensure on-brand, compliant, and effective email programs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in email marketing or a similar role.
  • Proven proficiency with HubSpot (marketing automation, lists, workflows, reporting, deliverability configurations).
  • Exceptional copywriting and editing skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and valuable email content.
  • Deep understanding of the customer lifecycle (acquisition, welcome, nurture, conversion, retention) and where nurturing plays a key role.
  • Strong data analytic skills to monitor deliverability, engagement, and performance metrics; ability to translate data into actionable optimization steps.
  • Experience with list hygiene, segmentation strategies, and sending patterns to improve deliverability and relevance.
  • Knowledge of legal/regulatory requirements and industry best practices for email marketing (e.g., CAN-SPAM).
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and ensure consistency with brand and business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute email campaigns that align with the business objectives and target audience.
  • Understand the current nurture touchpoints across different tools for different teams, strategize to bring those into HubSpot.
  • Manage and segment email lists, ensuring messages reach the right audience at the optimal time and maintaining high deliverability.
  • Monitor email deliverability and analyze campaign performance metrics, reporting results, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Set up and manage automated email campaigns (drip/nurture programs) across the customer lifecycle, optimizing engagement and conversions.
  • Ensure all email campaigns adhere to legal regulations and email marketing best practices (including deliverability hygiene and avoiding spam triggers).
  • Collaborate with and guide other teams to ensure emails support the company's objectives and create value.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to maintain an effective and competitive email program, including exploration of chat and SMS as complementary channels.
