About The Position

Email Specialist II supports the planning, production, and execution of email marketing campaigns across the Tommy Bahama brand, including eCommerce, Retail, Restaurants, Outlets, and Furniture. This role focuses on the operational coordination of email projects and assists in implementing strategies developed by the marketing leadership team. The Email Specialist II will execute campaign builds, perform quality assurance testing, manage deployment schedules, and track campaign performance. This position requires close collaboration with internal departments and external partners to ensure timely, accurate, and brand-aligned communication. The role is hands-on and detail-oriented, ensuring that every campaign meets established deadlines, creative standards, and business goals.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing or business or relevant work experience
  • 4-5+ years working in email marketing create campaigns to drive traffic and revenue, increase guest time on site, and enhance guest journey/experience
  • Understanding email metrics and reporting tools.
  • Attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with task management, Adobe and AI.
  • Adaptability and ability to adjust to quickly shifting campaign priorities and timelines
  • Takes Ownership of tasks and follows through consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of email marketing campaigns, including building emails, setting up audiences, and performing QA prior to deployment.
  • Maintain and update the email marketing calendar to ensure alignment with promotional schedules and key brand initiatives.
  • Prepare and organize campaign assets, including creative files, copy, and links, ensuring all content is accurate and approved.
  • Support audience segmentation and targeting as directed by management.
  • Generate regular reports on email performance metrics (e.g., open rate, click-through rate, conversions) using established templates and tools.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams including Creative, eCommerce, Guest Services, and Legal to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Maintain compliance with brand guidelines, data privacy regulations, and marketing policies.
  • Partner with third-party vendors or the email service provider (ESP) to ensure successful campaign setup and deployment.
  • Identify issues or errors during testing and escalate appropriately for resolution.
  • Perform additional duties and work on occasional special projects as assigned.
