About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Email / CRM Manager in the United States. This role is responsible for driving lifecycle and retention marketing strategies across email, SMS, push notifications, direct mail, and other customer communication channels. You will own the execution, optimization, and automation of CRM-driven campaigns that enhance engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value. The position requires a highly data-driven, hands-on approach, collaborating closely with Product, Data Science, Creative, Customer Experience, and Growth Marketing teams. You will lead segmentation, personalization, and testing initiatives to maximize campaign performance and deliver measurable business impact. The environment is fast-paced, cross-functional, and highly collaborative, emphasizing experimentation, continuous optimization, and customer-centric communication. Your work will directly influence customer engagement, retention metrics, and overall revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in CRM or email marketing, ideally in eCommerce or DTC environments.
  • Proven experience designing and executing lifecycle and retention programs that improve customer LTV and margin contribution.
  • Hands-on experience with ESP/CRM platforms such as Iterable, SendGrid, or similar.
  • Technical proficiency in HTML/CSS for email editing and QA.
  • Strong experience with segmentation, personalization, and A/B/multivariate testing frameworks.
  • Analytical skills to translate performance data into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment with high autonomy and ownership.

  • Familiarity with SMS, push notifications, or direct mail channels is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and evolve CRM programs across onboarding, lifecycle, transactional, reactivation, and loyalty campaigns.
  • Lead segmentation, targeting, and personalization initiatives to optimize engagement, retention, and LTV.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize automated and ad-hoc CRM campaigns, ensuring alignment with promotional strategies.
  • Maintain ownership of ESP and CRM platforms, building automated journeys, trigger-based campaigns, and workflows.
  • Implement A/B and multivariate testing frameworks to continuously improve campaign performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, Creative, and Customer Experience teams to deliver cohesive lifecycle experiences.
  • Monitor compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and deliverability best practices, while managing data hygiene and platform integrations.
  • Develop reporting and dashboards to track engagement, conversion, retention, and revenue contribution, providing actionable insights for optimization.
