JOB TITLE: ELL Teacher REPORTS TO: Director of Specialized Services, Director of School START DATE: 2025/2026 Academic School Year TEACHER STARTING SALARY: $50,000 JOB SUMMARY: The English Language Learner (ELL) Teacher supports multilingual learners by providing targeted English language instruction that builds proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The ELL Teacher designs and implements lessons that align with state standards and language development goals, while also supporting students' academic achievement across content areas. This role involves assessing language proficiency, monitoring progress, and collaborating with classroom teachers, families, and support staff to ensure inclusive and culturally responsive instruction. The ELL Teacher is responsible for maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, including Title III of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), and ensuring that students receive equitable access to educational opportunities.
