About The Position

Are you an experienced Eligibility Coordinator looking for a meaningful, part‑time opportunity where your work truly makes a difference? Immanuel Pathways PACE® is seeking a Temporary Part‑Time Eligibility Coordinator to support participants at Pathways Omaha , located at 5755 Sorensen Parkway, Omaha, NE 68152 . In this role, you’ll help ensure participants maintain critical Medicare and Medicaid benefits while working collaboratively with a mission‑driven team dedicated to serving older adults with dignity and respect. Pay is based on experience, certifications, skills, and education.

Requirements

  • Some college is required.
  • Two (2) years of experience in assisting individuals who are applying for Medicaid or other governmental programs is required.
  • One (1) year of experience working with the frail or elderly population required, or completion of job specific training related to working with the elderly population must be completed within the first six months of hire.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of reliable transportation for driving to Immanuel Pathway Center locations.
  • Equivalent years of experience may substitute for education requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Assist current participants in maintaining Medicaid benefits through the yearly renewal process.
  • Completes monthly Medicare enrollment and disenrollment processes and identifies, reports, and resolves various discrepancies as needed.
  • Manages Share of Cost or Client Participation requirements with participants and ensures outstanding balances are collected.
  • Responsible for working with Accounting and Executive Directors in notification and follow up for Share of Cost, and Client Participation.
