About The Position

Supports client with Health First Colorado Application eligibility (Colorado’s Medicaid Program). Be familiar with documentation that is needed to apply for benefits. These include Social Security numbers for applicants who have them. Immigration document numbers for non-citizens, name, address, contact info, and birth date for applicants. Employer and income information for everyone in your household. Examples include pay stubs or W2 forms. Other income information including Social Security Administration (SSA) or Supplemental security income (SSI) payments and mentions. Information and policy numbers for health insurance plans covering members of your household, including Medicare. Be familiar with Health First Colorado income guidelines. Provides a variety of support services in connection to the day-to-day operations in a health care environment servicing Same Day Access (SDA) clients at all SDA sites. Duties include monitoring of SDA access clients at all sites for timeliness, coordinating with staff in SDA to get clients to appropriate staff member, troubleshoot technology issues (telehealth connectivity, meeting links, etc.), utilization of Fast Pass for appropriate clients, and identify areas for improvement within SDA. Reports pertinent information and recommendations to leadership in accordance with the center/program goals and objectives. Must be able to consistently stay calm while interacting with customers telephonically or in person. Must be able to adapt to a consistently changing fast paced environment that requires excellent multi-tasking skills. Must be flexible with the business needs and report daily with a “can do” approach. Assists with training new team members and ensure staff is updated on new processes, procedures and assigned task. Bilingual/Spanish is preferred. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Strong work experience in customer service industry, preferably 2+ years.
  • Excellent data entry skills; Type 25+ w.p.m.
  • Excellent computer skills, with extensive experience using program within Microsoft Office, to include Word, Outlook and Excel preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong ability to interact successfully with a variety of individuals.
  • Proven work history in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and the expectation to multi-task.

Nice To Haves

  • Electronic Health Records experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of “Release of Information “process, preferred.
  • Bilingual/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supports client with applying for assistance for Health First Colorado Colorado’s Medicaid Program.
  • Will be familiar and knowledgeable with the income guidelines
  • Be sure familiar with the documents and verification needed to apply
  • Pull and returning calls (SDA)
  • Maintain training for front desk coverage (Documentation needed and all other eligibility requirements to include scheduling.)
  • Work emails and any other correspondence submitted for client to include sending documents other departments as required.
  • Is responsible for navigating the Same Day Access service needs of the clinician and clients and assists with setting appointments, rescheduling and or referring them to internal or external resources and professionals; completing enrollment as needed for clients to receive services.
  • Actively stays informed on process changes and collaborates with Same Day Access Team.
  • Maintains knowledge of services offered within Diversus Health and the processes to provide those services.
  • Consistently maintains prompt attendance to provide excellent customer service.
  • Works collaboratively with multiple departments to provide support with SDA needs.
  • Participates in the monitoring, collection, and reporting of data.
  • Attends regular meetings with SDA and other teams.
  • Closes SDA programs once client has been assigned for ongoing treatment.
  • Seeks and maintains efficiencies for Diversus Health patients access processes.
  • Develops and maintains strong internal/ external working relationships and communications.
  • Attends and completes all required job-specific trainings and meetings as designated.
  • Promotes and maintains a positive work environment and encourages resiliency.
  • Willingly performs other duties as assigned or required
