About The Position

The primary objective of this Elementary Teacher position at Clark Elementary is to plan and deliver a program of instruction that meets students’ needs, is consistent with good practice, and fulfills the expectations criteria for teachers as identified in the Webster Groves School District teacher evaluation tool. The role involves projecting positivity, utilizing diverse teaching practices, supporting student growth, maximizing learning for diverse students, assessing and interpreting results for individualized instruction, collaborating with a learning team, sharing ideas with stakeholders, developing partnerships with parents and students, participating in committees, and adhering to Board of Education policies. A strong commitment to equity, personal growth, and an unwavering belief in all students' ability to achieve at high levels is essential, along with respect for student voice and choice, strong knowledge of teaching practices, effective communication skills, and flexibility in meeting diverse learner needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Major or Minor in content area required
  • Missouri teacher certification with required endorsements for the subject and level assigned
  • A commitment to ensuring equity for all students, and an understanding that this starts with a commitment to a personal journey of honesty, reflection, and growth
  • True love for and belief in all students-unwavering confidence in all students’ ability to grow and achieve at high levels
