About The Position
We are looking for passionate teachers looking to have fun this summer while helping our students engage in summer learning! The elementary summer academy program is centered on academics, station rotations, themed weeks and play. Program Details: Date: June 23 - August 6, 2026 Days/Times: Tuesday - Thursday 8:30am - 2:15pm Duration: six (6) weeks, three (3) days per week No school the week of July 6 - July 10, 2026 Location: Traverse Heights Elementary Schedule and Pay: $33.00 per hour paid via timesheet Prep and Records: June 18, 19, 22, 2026 and August 7, 2026 Start/end Times: 8:00am - 2:30pm; Tuesday - Thursday (6.5 hours per day) July 6 - July 10, 2026 - No School (no pay) Anticipated dates, times and location. Subject to change, if changes occur candidates will be notified.
Requirements
- Michigan Teaching Certificate - Elementary General Education Teaching Certificate (ZG)
