DISTRICT: Elementary Summer Academy Program Teacher Assistant
About The Position
The Teacher Assistant will report to the Elementary Summer Academy Director and assist students as needed. The teacher assistant will also assist the classroom teacher in maintaining appropriate classroom activities. Program Details: Date: June 23 - August 6, 2026 Days/Times: Tuesday - Thursday 8:30am - 2:15pm Duration: six (6) weeks, three (3) days per week No school the week of July 6 - July 10, 2026 Location: Traverse Heights Elementary Schedule and Pay: Current TCCAPSA hourly Instructional Assistant (Class III) rate or sub rate, whichever is higher; paid via timesheet Training and Prep: June 18, 19, 22, 2026 and August 7, 2026 Start/end Times: 8:30am - 2:30pm; Tuesday - Thursday (6.0 hours per day) July 6 - July 10, 2026 - No School (no pay) Positions Available: 7 Elementary Teacher Assistants needed Anticipated dates, times and location. Subject to change, if changes occur candidates will be notified.
