Job Summary: This is a 1.0 FTE non-continuing position for an Elementary School Counselor. Under the direction of the school Principal, the counselor is responsible for performing general counseling functions. The school counselor fills a critical role in ensuring that every student receives the time and support needed to learn at high levels and to access and surpass grade-level learning. The school counselor provides a data-informed, proactive and responsive intervention systems based upon relationships. The counselor will aim programs and services at promoting student social-emotional and classroom success. Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job description. This is a temporary position for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year.

Requirements

• Valid State of Washington ESA Certificate
• Master's degree in School Counseling or Social Work
• Blood Borne Pathogen Training (provided at time of hire)
• First Aid / CPR Certificates (provided at time of hire)
