The Principalship We are seeking a Visionary Instructional Leader to serve as the Principal of a K-8 urban charter school. This isn’t a role for a "status quo" administrator; it is a call for a relentless advocate for children who believes that academic excellence is the number one priority in a school. Our leader’s objective must be to ensure every student in our school is equipped with the literacy, numeracy, and social emotional development required to excel and show up ready for high school and to persist through college and career. You will be the architect of this culture, the coach of our leaders, and the bridge to our community.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of school leadership experience (Principal or Assistant Principal) in a high-performing urban charter or district setting.
• Proven Results: A track record of student growth in literacy and numeracy, particularly within communities of color.
• Educational Background: Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership or a related field (Required); valid State Administrator Certification (Required).
• Resourceful: Shows proficiency in the ability to solve complex problems and knows how to build teams. Demonstrates understanding of sound decision making with a sense of fairness and equity.
