About The Position

Alden Elementary School is seeking a highly qualified certified Elementary Classroom Teacher (Grade 4) for the 2026-2027 school year Please refer to the Duxbury Public Schools - Unit A Contract for additional information. This position is eligible to participate in the Town of Duxbury Benefit plans that include health insurance (25% employee contribution), dental insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, vision insurance, pet insurance, accident insurance, cancer insurance, critical illness insurance, prescription drug program, 529 College Savings plan, and an employee assistance program. Requirements

Current certification from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education - Elementary Education (1-6) with SEI Endorsement
Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
Classroom management skills that support students social emotional learning
Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners
Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
Citizenship, residency or work visa required
